Personality:

Clarissa is the classic, reluctant, runaway ‘Chosen One’, running from the perceived path laid before her and using her abilities to her own advantage. She’s perky, enjoys a good time, and has an excellent sense of humor. She tries to not take life too seriously though is not a huge fan of authority. She is brilliant, and highly intelligent, and these qualities are not only due to her ability to see the future, though she is not opposed to taking advantage of that ability.

She’s very willing to alter and manipulate events to her advantage and has used her ability more than once to create the desired outcome. Despite her willingness to use her powers, she enjoys a good challenge or mental puzzle, it’s why she loves the game of chess so much.

Yet, despite her free spirit, she is aware of the powers that will eventually draw her down the path she is supposed to walk, and this knowledge leads her to read and research any way she can avoid that path. No matter how many times she asks the universe to tell her what lies at the end, it doesn’t respond, as if it can’t tell her. This leads to sincere frustration as while she can see the futures of those around her, she can’t see her own.

History:
It’s tough being the ‘Chosen One’ and Clarissa is perhaps more than a bit reluctant. Raised in the typical ‘Chosen One’ fashion, as an orphan in a secret convent, hidden from most of the world. She grew up a bit spoiled, like those around her knew she was special, which they did, but when the time came to tell her, she ‘noped out’ and fled, using her wits and abilities to survive and thrive in the real world. She’s currently hanging out in New York, far from the sisters who once raised her, hitting the college scene, and playing in chess tournaments for kicks and giggles.

Abilities:
Speaking in Tongues - languages that aren’t dead, only works in that particular circumstance. Cannot speak a language when others aren’t speaking it.
Foresight - must speak the language of the Universe in order to be effective, only jumbled flashes of out of order things. The language of her universe is Enochian and her sight is limited by her grasp of the language and how she asks the question. This is currently much weaker here as the language of the Universe is not the same.
Enochian- Language of the Angels. Can be used for wards and various kinds of magic. Powered by the written and spoken word. Knowledge of the language must be present. Misspeaking can lead to rebounds.

Special Notes:
Due to speaking in tongues, I suspect she will be able to converse with the present universe the longer she stays, but not necessarily at will and only when the universe speaks to her first.
